Right from the start it was way to polished and duh ah predictable. Uneccesary small conflicts with authorities, quirky person trusted and promoted way too easily. Irritating flashes of how her genius mind works and the. Square peg in a round hole ends up being indispensible.
Sometimes shows can be too nice and smooth, the predictable. Some people like the underdog trope but it needs to be more gritty if it is not funny. And it just isn't funny or gritty. This is too middle of the road for my taste.
If you don't need proper mystery and are content with paint by numbers detective shows this will suit you fine.

Started well but my worst fears were realised. The writing of the child character heads into off-putting territory that ruins so many good movies/shows.
1. The child is a smartass.
2. The child has insight far beyond her age which just serves to forward the plot in a clumsy, annoying manner and creates contrived danger through her stupidity and contrariness.
If you are raising children then brattish behaviour you take as part of the territory, it's part of what you signed up for. You will not however find it entertaining in a show and this you can turn off.
