I rated this 10 to offset some of the ridiculous reviews this production has received.

IMDB should require reviewers to have watched at least half of a show or movie before they can post a review.

There are plenty of people who apparently didn't watch enough of this show to understand the plot line. That's on you, not the show.

Others complain that it's not like the book. It's extremely difficult to make a show based on a book that is received exactly as the author intended. I mean, Stephen King himself is an executive producer of this show. How much closer to his vision can you get?

There are no big name actors but casting is pretty spot on. Everyone did a good job. Writing is decent, easy to follow. Pace is set to fill 8 episodes. Sometimes it's a slow burn, other times it moves at a faster speed.

And obviously it's supposed to be dingy and dreary looking.

So far, 6 episodes in, everything makes sense and has been explained well enough.

It is somewhat predictable and not very original, but we knew this going in.

It's solid 7.5 entertainment and I'm looking forward to the last two episodes. Only wish it had a bigger audience - MGM Plus isn't one of the most popular streaming services.

I was really looking forward to this show, it sat in my Next Up queue for a while. Unfortunately it ended up a real head scratcher.

First, what on earth did I just watch?

Second, how could two top tier actors read the script and think this was worth their while?

It's badly written, in large parts non sensical, certainly highly unbelievable, not really funny even though they do try very hard (too hard IMHO), extremely boring and it's a miracle I didn't turn it off before it ended.

Only die hard Clooney / Pitt fans will have anything good to say about this production.

If this movie was a tangible item I would return it for a full refund for "not as expected"...
