Sherlock Holmes has been done again and again.
Hrs a fictional character penned by Arthur Conan Doyle.
We've had Basil, Jeremy, Benidict, Robert Downey, Johnny Lee etc etc.
Spin offs and so on etc.
Watson is the newest and this followed.
I'm liking this, well cannot get any worse than Watson ( insert laughing emoji here ).
Give it time but I think this will be better than all the rest apart from Elementary. Nothing can beat that exceptional quality of TV series.
Give it a chance but its not elementary or anything close
I mean Conan Doyle gave us a specialist in deduction and yes we need more.

When i first read about this show it brought back happy memories of Elementary with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. However i knew it wasn't a spin of said show.
So i went in with open eyes, the premise was good at first and i'm probably one of the few people who has not watch House so i cannot compare the two and as i have no interest in hospital drama shows i watched until the end because it's Sherlock Holmes related.
Thing is i did like the show however one thing spoiled it for me ( right at the end ). Who in there right mind casted Moriarty, for the life of me i cannot understand.
Moriarty is a mastermind genius not some unfunny comedian, they really dropped the ball there.
Unless they change the Moriarty character then i'm done, and no it's nothing to do with race, 90% of the actors are of colour, it's just this actor is not the right fit for Moriarty.

I knew of the Harrison Ford film but never watched it, so when i read Jake Gyllenhaal was to do a TV adaptation i thought i'd give it a go, love Jake's films ( apart from Brokeback Mountain ) and knew of Ruth Negga ( Agents of Shield ).
The first few episodes were that boring that i nearly gave up, but from episode 3 onwards the premise was brilliant, like the film a top notch D. A is accused of murdering his female partner and lover, whilst all around him his family and friends doubt him, his law partners try him for the murder and so the cat and mouse games start, the audience is treated to numerous characters and all those characters could be the killer.
Naturally the ending was changed from the film and part of me thought it would have been Rusty's son.
Thing is though all's well that ends well then surely the prosecution should still be looking for the killer?
All in all i gave it a 8 out of 20.
