I really didn't expect it. The Portuguese did a great job!
They managed to capture the atmosphere of the Cold War era, the double life and the psychological struggle of those involved in espionage activities.
Although the plot develops relatively slowly, and the episodes could have been less than ten, when it ended I wanted more. Too bad there's no second season.
The actors are excellent. No one really lags behind. The production and direction are also great. The script and plot are interesting, with very few gaps.
The only thing that doesn't make any sense is the ending. I don't want to spoil it, so I won't write more, but the series didn't deserve this ending. I think the creators were influenced by the trend of the time to have an unexpected ending that leaves room for a sequel.
If it had ended differently it would definitely have been a 9/10.

An amazing and engaging story that keeps the mystery on to the last minute. Sure one of the best greek crime and mystery series i have ever seen.
Great storytelling, makes you think about it all the time, with a shocking final revelation.
It is based on a book with same title by author Dimitris Simos (can't remember if it is mentioned).
Filmed at greek province with nice landscapes, although with to manny aerial shots.
Didn't like:

Didn't like:
- the acting, especialy from the two leading roles (the supporting roles were better).
- the manchasing and shooting scenes! Very clumpsy and shouldn't be in the film.
Stunning scenery! (according to IMBD: Filmed on location entirely in Scotland according to the borders of 1320).
Great filmography, makes you want to learn about the real history behind.
Great battle scenes that realistically depicts the fighting style of the era (mud, rutallity and chaos) Good acting especially from Crise Pine and Aaron Taylor Johnson.
Didn't like that there is no emotional connection between the characters (especially Bruce and his wife, family and fellow soldiers).
Also it feels like they tried to put too many facts in a 2 hours film and lost it somewhere. I understand many saying it could be a mini series.
