I was really excited to see a new Hallmark mystery, especially one with the "And Then There Were None" trope, a favorite of mine.
The cast was uh, very static. No one had any character except for the first victim.
It didn't bother me that there wasn't any romance, but a little chemistry would have been nice.
The locale was beautiful but no one really seemed to enjoy the luxurious settings at all? They may has well been trudging around in a cornfield?
I didn't even realize this was a sequel until reading another review, but not sure if I will watch the first one, unless I need to fall asleep.
Glad everyone got a paycheck though and I hope the writers do better next time.

I'm rewatching this again and I have to say, this episode just didn't do it for me. It is odd to me that with so many Hallmark Mystery regulars, that the acting, dialogue seems so wooden and inauthentic?
Not much chemistry. Shannon and Michael, the married couple. Ainsley and Ryan, siblings. Even the banter between Ainsley and her dog George feels forced.
I did enjoy the location though, so there is that.
At any rate, I stuck with it because I love these types of mysteries and wanted to give "Great American Family" a chance.
I don't see another episode in the works but if there is, I hope it is a lot better!

Wow, a lot of people seem to dislike the theme of this episode but I enjoyed it. It was a fair representation of feelings towards Drag Queens good and bad but dealt with a tasteful humor.
The likable characters were just that and the less likeable, played their role well. The only thing I didn't like was the mother/son scenario because I felt I'd seen it in another episode, though I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
The title was on point. Loved the tongue in cheekiness of it.
No, I am not a queen but I am not against a good show, Drag or Midsomer Murders. Can't wait until the next episode.
