This show has a lot of heart, a great cast and some comedy too. Doesn't take long to really care what happens to the characters. We watch them grow and change. We watch them fail and change. We watch them deal with some real life stuff. We even care what happens to the side characters. Truly I didn't even feel good calling them that. I know they were integral to the story but aren't the top of the Call Sheet. Anyway the writing was really good! Some deep episodes. Especially the final season. The music is great too. With all the crap they're rebooting, adding to, or staring back up this could easily be a fantastic one to do. I'd love to write...where they are now! They could do several season on it too. Now I'm bummed, I wish they'd do this! Regardless. I enjoyed these 4 seasons and may even watch them all again one day.

Sure it took a while for some action but that's because this is a very different vampire movie. They actually gave you some folks to be interested in so you kinda care what happens to them. The acting was great, most did a really good job. Michael B. Jordan was amazing. I'm actually from Mississippi and they didn't do too bad on the older southern drawl. Some places still have one real close to what's portrayed here. Music was good too. We DEFINITELY still have that! I liked the addition of different kinds of music, eras, clothing and dance, while the narrator is weaving the tale. Anyway I thought It was a decent fresh take on a story told thousands of times! Other than being a bit slow with real action, what's not to like really?? If you like a vampire movie I bet you'll like this one. The gore was top notch too. I alway like when it's just soooo over the top. It's goofy but fun for me. So yeah, solid was to spend 2 hours. I'm not mad about it.

I thought this was a great Scottish whodunnit. Had likable characters, some took time to grow on you but that's fine...I found I cared about what happened to most of them. Whether I was wishing ill will or happiness, I cared. It had a nice paces, with approximately 9 hour long episodes there was a fear this would just drag and become monotonous. It didn't though. They had lots of storylines and multiple character conjoined storylines that all work together. That sounded confusing I think. I'm a bit baked so I'm not rewriting hahaha. It's good. Characters are good, storylines, subplots both good. Just watch it. If you don't like it, stop watching. Easy peasy.
