Ram Gopal Verma's Sarkar is the best movie I have seen ever. Being the Indian version of The Godfather, it has the perspective of an Indian man who comes out of the system to fight the evils in the society.

Comparisons made by the media between the title character Subhash Nagre and a well known politician in Mumbai fall short for the viewer who would liked to have seen the film for knowing the politician. There are similarities - it is not the same.

Also, this film is not the straight translation of the epic Godfather although one might see certain similarities. This film is an original by itself. One must stop comparing and enjoy the film. One is sure to enjoy it then.

Look out for amazing performances by Amitabh and Abhishek Bachhan, Kay Kay Menon, Supriya Pathak and also a small appearance by Anupam Kher.

This is the worst movie ever made I'm bollywood. Pathetic performances by all actors except Abhishek Bachan.

Hritik Roshan has acted the same as he has in Koi Mil Gaya. Hey but the role is different. May be he was in character then! The pathetic shows of animations for the dog(Johnny) and the parrot add to the disgusting performances in the movie.

Kareena Kapoor's acting is negligible. and to add to this hoolah, we have Javed Jaffery and Ruby Bhatia cracking ridiculous jokes for the valentines day poppycock.

This movie is definitely a miss. Don't watch it even if you are paid to do so.

Kareena's friends are the most interesting part of the movie. Please, that does not mean its good. It only means compared to other parts of the movie, that is good.

Anyways, if you are going to watch this movie, keep a good dosage of aspirin handy.

At high school i had to read "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare as a part of the syllabus. To learn that we had to go through all the symbolisms and references to mythology, the illiad etc. Now, after about a year after completing high school, i saw the movie "Prospero's Books" and it pleased me a lot.

The movie is true to the symbolisms shown by "The Tempest" for example the spirits shown in the movie are naked - just to denote that they are spirits!

Also, the same voice(Prospero's) is used for each and every character in the film - showing that Prospero controlled everything on the island - according to the original text!

The amazing way in which the film has been cinematized requires applause.

But one of the problem regarding the film was that it wasn't popular. People could be seen leaving the cinemas way before the 3rd act of the play was being portrayed.

I personally think that to enjoy the film, one must read the play. I remember myself actually narrating the play while synchronized with the film!

The film does not have much entertainment value but it was excellent as a documentary on Shakespeare's research regarding the play. I loved the film and i hope there are a few more who do! Thank you.
