Fight or Flight is a fun action movie with plenty of silliness to it. It's not the greatest of these types of films (Bullet Train is definitely one of my top picks), but it's still a fun watch.
The cast does a fine job. Not that you're watching this film for it's acting quality. But considering how ridiculous a lot of this is, it's quite impressive how well they do.
The action is fun. It's silly, over the top, and lots of fake blood. It's just what you'd expect from this type of movie. The fight scenes are well done, well choreographed... you can actually see the fights. It's not one of those horrific endless jump cut type of fight scenes.
Definitely worth sitting down to enjoy.

When you watch a found footage film, you generally don't expect much. Only a handful will be something entertaining like Blair Witch (which was mostly just good because it was the start of the trend), Cloverfield (found footage with an actual budget). As Above So Below (actual quality low budget found footage movie), or Grave Encounters (campy but well done found footage).
Frogman was just a no budget movie, with horrific acting, a plot that goes nowhere, long boring sections of pointless drama and nonsense, horrific camera work (even for found footage movies) and terrible special effects.
The vast majority of the movie is basically nothing. Just lots of talking which has nothing to do with anything other than to kill time. Then there's some monster hunting, some brief seconds of monster, and then nonsensical scrambling and wild flailing of the camera.
There are a lot of great found footage movies out there. This is definitely not one of them. And a complete waste of time.

Went into The Gorge expecting a horror movie. That's what the trailers seemed to focus on it being. There's some "horror", for the fact that there's monsters, but it's more of an action movie.
It's kind of like Aliens. Sure, there's monsters, but it's more about the action and suspense. Having Sigourney Weaver in it kind of rubbed it in our faces. Lol
The main plot was well done. Sure, a little by the numbers, but then there's very little that's truly original these days. But overall it was presented well, and cleverly handled.
The action was great. Not too extreme on the jump cuts and such, you could easily follow along with the fight scenes. Always a plus.
The monster designs were near. The special effects worked very well.
And the romance between the main characters was nicely done. It felt more natural than in most of these types of movies (helps that they have months to "fall in love" instead of the couple of hours most movies use, which is just weird and creepy).
There was a few little nitpicks here and there. But that aside, the move was a great watch. Definitely recommend it if you're into the action-horror movies.
