So of course the first episodes are the cheesiest you could imagine and thus the overall low rating of the show but it gets so much better.

Supergirl develops as a hero, the plot thickens and the writing improves, I really enjoy watching this show - not like "can't miss it!" but definitely "I'm bored, let's watch Supergirl".

The characters are likable and you'll root for them, Cat Grant is a force to be reckoned with and might teach you a lesson or two about life! It's a solid 8 in my book but the 10 is to compensate for the bad reviews and level out the playing field.

I would like to start with the fact that a lot of reviews for this show are by people who are comparing it to the book. We all know those comparisons result in TV Series Bashing. Ignore them.

This is a flash of brilliance with veteran actors giving their best performances. You will enjoy every moment of it and if you're anything like me, it will keep you at the edge of your seat.

The story progresses quickly, it's entertaining and the book's plot has been well executed. Sure there are some goofs and loopholes (Specially in the finale) but despite that I would want to give this mini-series a 10 because I ended up thoroughly enjoying it. There is action, drama, blasts, a love story, betrayal, alliances, guns, henchmen and more - everything that constitutes a super secret spy movie in the 21st century!

Watch it for the menacing Laurie, for the charming Hiddleton, watch it for the performance of a lifetime by Tom Hollander and Olivia Conman.. but do yourself a favor, and watch this!

It's 1am and I'm up, I've binge watched the entire first season and am amazed at the quality of Sense8.

Sense8 is a new concept, with it's own world and characters. Diversity is key, there are people from all walks and all orientations and yet it feels so together. The story is well thought out and the character development is interesting, the series does not shy away from taking a break from the main plot line just to let the characters unravel. There's drama, action, romance and thriller. It's an all in one package. You find yourself rooting for the characters. It's hard to sometimes understand the rules of this universe but you can relate to their individual story lines and that makes it even better.

I gave it a 9 because initially it was very slow but it picked up pace and exceeded my expectations. This is what science fiction needs to be like. I need season 2 and I need it now, don't cancel this show Netflix or I'll be really disappointed in you.
