"Evil Dead Rise" (2023) just might be the bloodies film made in recently memory. I meant the amount of fake blood used here is probably were they spent majority of the budget. That does not make the film good or effective of course, but it adds to the overall experience. And overall experience was positive for me after watching this small, but effective and well made horror flick. The cast of unknowns (for me at least) made an excellent job - they all sold this material very well. Practical effects and make up were pretty amazing - they do remind of original trilogy. Pacing was solid, at its short running time 1 h 30 min this film barely drags and was bloody and effective horror fest, just what one might expect from a movie set in "Evil Dead" universe.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train" (2020) is a very well paced and animated film. In order to watch it and enjoy it you really have to seen previous series, as this one puts you right in the middle of action with idea that viewer knows what happened before. I haven't seen nothing related to it before so imagine my confusion regarding the plot. Still, i enjoyed the animation very much and at running time 1 h 50 mi it is well paced with good voice acting.
Overall, i might check other installments because i did enjoy this film. Its crazy that its the most successful film in Japan history. I liked previous record holder way more because it was an original and self contained story. This one has to be seen only after seeing series that came before.

"Resident Evil 4" remake is for me one of the very best games that i have ever had pleasure to play. I liked the original way in the day very much, but this one is a step up in every way. I own Gold Edition that includes "Separate Ways" DLC, and beat main campaign for 6 times. DLC for 4 times. That says a lot and at the end my total play time was 129 hours. I 100% it on my PS5.
This is the best Resident Evil game that Capcom has made, to date. I doubt they ever gonna top this one. The action in this 3rd person shooter is crowning achievement in video games. It is insane game in the best way possible. While the story here is like take it or leave type, its not what drives this game forward, although i liked every character, voice acting and performance very much in here. Graphics, sound design, controls, puzzles, crafting, looting - all is done in near perfect way.
Overall, "Resident Evil 4" remake is one of the best games that i have ever played, and i do play a lot of video games. It's my favorite RE game to this date. Doubt it can be better then this. Masterpiece.
