This was such a good movie! And it's too bad that so many people haven't seen it or even heard about it... Ralph did a great job interpreting someone going through a horrible disease, having to cope with his life being cut to less than a third of a "normal" human being's life. Not only was his it short, but hard, because when most of his friend were, let's say, playing baseball or going out, he was minding his arthritis, seeing one doctor after the other and living other supposedly "old people's" issues... Nice lesson to learn about enjoying your life and thanking God for your health! It'd weird that even after "The Karate Kid" fans didn't take time to check this film out...
Man, amazing! I just read other comments about this film and it's crazy how long-lasting the memories of the movie can be! I watched it when I was a child (God knows how old, probably less than 10) and I could never forget it! I used to ask other people about it and no one had ever heard about it. I even started to wonder it I was making it up or something... It certainly grabbed you by the eyes, 'cause even though I'm not a horror fan (I'm too much of a chicken for it), I watched it all the way till the end. Now I'm 28 and I decided to look for it. Not that I wanna watch it again (I'd be too scared!), but I'm glad it wasn't just my imagination. The film actually existed... And it was cree-pee! What probably proves it very good.
