This was a typical bank heist movie, but on the plus side nobody got maimed or killed, there were no car chases or big Michael Bay explosions.
No it wasn't the best script, lot of plot holes and predictable twists, but it was entertaining just the same.
Very similar to the "Now You See Me" series. Not very realistic and sort of corny. Just don't overthink it.

The first season was interesting and captivating. The story was good, even if the acting was sort of Hallmark movie hammy.
However, it kept getting more and more bizarre. I know that they have to keep the action going to try to keep things interesting, but everyone has some deep dark secret past. Worse than that, they all lie to each other. This is supposed to be some tight-knit rural community.
Season 3 was a complete disaster. I know that there were COVID issues that kept some actors out (Annette O'Toole) but they came up with this ridiculous story line to explain her absence.
By midway through season 2, this just turns into an even more depressing rendition of "This is Us" (if that is possible). Appears there will be a season 4, but they'll go ahead without me.

Netflix seems to have resorted to a standard formula of ridiculous plot themes, lousy acting, and even more absurd dialog. The only thing that kept me from giving this movie a 1 star is that the movie was about 80% action and 20% storyline. I honestly think it would have been better if they had included a sea monster and bigfoot as antagonists instead of "trying" to make it credible.
From beginning to end, the plot is entirely predictable and the dialog is cheesy. The only thing that isn't completely obvious is what is the next thing the villains are going to throw at our heroes.
I understand that Netflix wants to churn out content and the past year has made that difficult, but this one would've been better off left on the shelf.
