I consider Jodie Foster as one of biggest actresses in later decades, and she was in some great movies. Some in this Century were not so great, but still above average.

I did not know about this movie until couple weeks ago, and was able to watch it thanx to friend who has DVD.

Yes, acting is overall very good, but lot of it in this story is just unrealistic. That nobody noticed that she not going in school, that her father is never visible . Then all it with getting money, getting rid of some things ... Like in that small town everyone, especially police and social workers were just lazy, uninterested ... Sure, movie is low budget, but that's not excuse for poor script and direction.

But I agree with one thing: even some 13 years old can be smarter than many of adults. That, and acting gives 5 stars to this .

OMG - is it because heat, longer time without new HM movie ? So many unrealistic details -1 Euro for some ruined building on larger territory in Italy ? What about it was happening before 2001 ? Would it be 1 Lira ? Huh.

Extremely predictable. OK, that's not something rare with this kind of movies, this kind of Hallmark movies. But it was really overdone, full with some - ah let's impress viewers with some sudden changes - and yes, at the end everyone loved her, even those not liking her earlier . Why ? Just because she did not know what to do really until dramatically predictable ending. Hurra !

It stays here that budget is some 9K bucks. That self sounds good.

What is this about ? Some pretty much lost young people wanting love, sex, relationship ... Instead it they spending most of time in really stoooopid talk, trying to make self most smart in that talk, situations. Does it remind you on how it was in your life, with your friends ? I don't think that what we saw in this short, and I dare to say short brained movie happened with some more than 1 % people in western communities in last decades - that factor matters because of some genderish stuff involved - of course, that can not missing. We are in smart products and dumb people (especially younger ones) time.

Get life ! Not new 'smartphone' .
