The oil spill into Prince William Sound by the Exxon Valdez is imprinted into my mind when I was a kid and remembered seeing horrible and sad images of whales, dolphins, seals, fishes, birds, and other mammals that was affected by this horrible disaster. The movie depicts from the moment the Valdez hit the reef to when the first phase of the clean up started. Sure there are some well known actors in this film, but this movie isn't for entertainment but a reminder of when man does not respect nature, and nature in turn, makes it hard for us to be able to live and this is what happened. The movie sadly looks like is a fiction disaster but happened in real life.

I've saw a lot of reviews that is saying the movie doesn't have character driven, it's boring, no thriller, and etc. Well, of course the movie won't be anything exciting as this is a docdrama. This movie was made for people needing to remember when investing their money or being responsible with other people's money and not committing the crime of fraud.

The actors portray their characters are just fine and might say right down to their appearance. The story starts just when Madoff revealed to the whole family that his investment was a ponzi scheme and also the gradual downfall of both his son. And shows the impact of how one man completely destroyed not his family, but thousands of business, and decimated the people who trusted him. Given that Madoff was a household name for anything the economy, this is something the boomers, GenX, millennials need to learn when especially investing their money.

Just a side note, this movie was made in 2017 so this covers both Mark sad death where he couldn't take it and Andrew dying from cancer. Madoff and his sister died around 2022.

If you're going to watch this movie, keep an open mind and don't expect to be on the edge of your seat, this isn't an entertainment movie, but a document of what this man did to his family and the people who trusted him.

Lightyear when I first watched it, I could not establish what the movie was trying to become. Was it supposed to be an origin story of Buzz or trying to be a Buzz on a journey movie here. Unfortunately everything we learn from the Toy Story was not properly integrated in the Lightyear. Also anything the film producers trying to present the story, we're scrambled out of our minds to see what the heck is going on. The bad guy of course is a big disappointment but then again what we learn from Toy Story 2 doesn't mean will translate well in this new movie. The characters are in terms, forgotten, not enjoyable and completely unrelated as well. Otherwise, what made this movie really bad is the complete lack of storyline that is unbelievable as well as trying to force the audience to already figure out who Buzz is before we even started the film. The actors of course nothing wrong with them as they're just reading the script and the visual are Pixar which we expect nothing other then beautiful dazzle. The story-line of course is the big problem and this movie lack of course. Even the kids and adults are having a tough time figuring out what the plot is about and given we all watched the Toy Story series, this Buzz seems to be trying a "Prometheus" attempt but in a bad way. Anyways, a sad shame Pixar let us down with this movie here.
