A local channel in my state is currently rerunning the show (it has done that before), and I found out that it's one of the several shows produced by Mark Goodson & Bill Todman that's not a game show proving that Goodson/Todman is not all game shows. In fact I found out that they produced Archie's TV Funnies, the original Sabrina the animated series, and the Don Rickles show just to name a few. But I just like to know why was the show distributed by Kingworld International (ala Wheel, Jeopardy, Hollywood Squares & Oprah to name a few)? Because as you've seen, none of the Goodson/Todman game shows are distributed by Kingworld, they are distributed by Pearson Television (now called Fremantlemedia). Please let me know.

I've seen videos & DVDs of classic 50s & 60s Gumby cartoons. But now that the 80s Gumby show is not on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon anymore, why isn't this version on VHS or DVD (preferrably DVD)? It would be a joy to see it on DVD video store shelves for once. I mean it was a nice version, and it had the classic cartoons on it when the show started before switching to modern day Gumby. Although I'm not to thrilled with their voices. I even liked the movie although I'm surprised to see that Gumby & Pokey are from outer space (if that's true, then what are they doing up there?), and the fact Pokey, Prickle & Goo are replaced by multi-colored clay music men. Once again it would be a joy to see the 80s Gumby Adventures show (distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures, a parent co. of Warner Bros.) on DVD.

The show was great although I never saw the opening to the show. However, their computer graphics were yucky. I didn't like the set or the idea that the money from solved catch phrases goes into a pot. For after seeing a clip from the UK Catch Phrase, it best to pay the contestants the value of the Catch Phrase rather than put it in the pot. Originally I wanted to have a pot be like the UK version, but someone told me once to just let the person who solve the Super Catch Phrase to keep the money solved Catch Phrases. That is which is a good idea nonetheless. Other than that it was a good show, and the bonus game was awesome.
