I never played the game but I was interested in the concept of a campie retro futuristic action adventure set in a post apocalyptic world. To be honest I was impressed by the first couple of episodes with the knowingly sly black humour however the show devolves into a confusing fractured mess. There are entirely too many interconnected plot lines that the show loses focus and by episode 4 I was using the fast forward button to skip sections I wasn't so engaged with like the goings on in the vault. It would have been better to devote an entire episode to a single character instead of constantly jumping around and when I realised there were 17 episodes I checked out for good.

Where to start with this dreadful movie? Should I talk about the complete lack of authenticity in the opening rock climbing scenes? Maybe I should focus on the appalling personality of the main characters, one a self pitying drunk and the other an irritating youtuber. The clunky dialogue and illogical plot certainly warrant a mention. The tragically poor acting from unknown actors should also get a mention too but all you really need to know is to avoid this movie like the plague. It's a shame as the premise is good, if a little simplistic and there are some genuinely panic attack inducing sequences but it isn't enough to make this abomination worth watching. Not nearly enough.

I'm not sure what I expected from John Cleese's Dinosaur Hour but what I was presented with was never the less disappointing. Take away the setting in a medieval castle, a cast of nuns and men in boller hats and off course all the cats and what you are left with is a chat show. Given Cleese was given a completely free hand and his comedy background it's reasonable to hope for a show which might not be broadly comical but was at least entertaining. One of the episodes was dedicated to talking with some American comedian I'd never heard of and another to the pompous snob, Stephen Fry who only seems to become more insufferable as time goes by.

I hope he doesn't make a second season.
