Based on my favourites (not misspelled, just Canadian...like me) it may be difficult to tell whether I'm girl or a guy, but if it matters let's just say I've got an innsie (and my bellybutton is too). I'm as old as Mario Puzo's 'The Godfather' (the film not the character). Feel free to do the math if you really want to know.
For the most part, I'll watch just about any type of movie in any language (preferably subtitled, not dubbed!). Comedic, Dramatic, Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Animation, Science Fiction, Thrillers, Crime, Mystery, Romantic, Musical, Docu/Mockumentaries, Historic and even the odd Western or Sports too (with a distinct weakness for dark comedies and horrors of the non-slasher variety as itemized below).
Although I enjoy a wide range of films there are some I cannot and will not ever be able to psych myself into watching (sorry Rob Schneider, Tom Green, Martin Lawrence and the like). As much as it pains me, though, there will always be an audience for your type of humour (and I use the term 'humour' loosely); it just doesn't include me. Chick-flicks rarely appeal to me but there are always exceptions to every rule. Dick-flicks aren't my first choice either but exceptions still apply. If a movie can make me smile, laugh, care, cry, yell, think, learn or see things from a different angle or someone else's point of view then it's almost never a waste of time.
