This movie represents the low point of John Cusacks career. I hope he made enough to pay off gambling debts, coke addiction or something along those lines because he must have been desperate to put his name on this pile of trash.
How anyone can find a redeeming quality in this crap is beyond me. Not since wanting to break stuff after watching Speed 2, have I been so angry to have lost 2 hours of my life! I usually enjoy these type of comedies (hangover, role models, knocked up, Zack and Miri) etc... But this was someone wiping their butt on a DVD and selling to you the consumer. As long as they can make a buck, they will.
I don't usually review films but this is a mockery of comedy. Sad to see good actors stoop this low to make a buck.
Please do not ruin John Cusacks image in your head by watching this dung.

I decided to go this this film ,instead of Pineapple Express, and now I wished I had decided to see the latter.
The cast should have made for a very funny film. The premise of Downey Jr. playing a black actor is funny enough. It was about the only bright spot in a rather boring film. Too bad they just didn't have a script that kept things rolling.
I have to say that this year is the re-birth of Downey Jr, and perhaps the end of Stiller's reign in the comedy genre.
Only die-hards of Stiller or Downey Jr films should see this. Barely a rental.

I had some reservations about this one before I watched it. Now I cannot rave about it enough. I have watched this at least 10 times, and find it even funnier, every time I watch it. DeNiro is surprisingly good in this film, much better that he was in 'Analyze This'. Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller have become the best one-two comedic punch in the business. This movie is the complete package, with great acting, storyline, and potential for a great sequel. Some of the slapstick comedy wears a bit thin, but it still fits in with the storyline. Overall, a great film with good acting, and a
fantastic storyline. I can't wait for the sequel, even though this one stands on its own.
