In the same way The Last of Us ain't about zombies.
Ted Lasso is not about football.
Season 01 was good. Gave it 07/10. Maybe because I was expecting something else.
After two years away, been watching Season 02 and I'm delighted! This show has something special about it. It's all about the characters growing as a team. Not a team of players. A team of people. There's not a big ambition trying to shock spectators every corner. There's only something that feels true. And a type of comedy that is very natural.
We all can see how sitcoms evolved from laugh tracks on Friends to a more natural Young Sheldon tone. And I love all these shows from the past too. I'm just saying Ted Lasso shouldn't be skipped even if you hate football. Season 02 is up to a 08/10.
And maybe this two point cut from perfect is just my expectations for something that this show is not. In fact it's exactly the opposite of what I was looking for. And it's truly great and genuine because of it! So maybe it's a 10 for not being a 10.

It's an average drama movie packed with great acting, so it ends up being very good to watch.
I was bouncing my grade between 6 and 7 because there is narration. And no expectator deserves that on a movie.
Despite that, it's a well rounded story. In the beginning I wasn't hooked. This one might take a while to really grab someone's attention.
There's a lot happening to this characters. Tom Holland is amazing and Pattinson seems to be getting even better each movie I watch him.
Other technical aspects of the movie, like photography, didn't really caught up my attention. I feel like it's all well done but there are other movies to look at if you actually want to see something that will stand out in these regards.

I don't know what is all the hype about.
Maybe it's by a Netflix leveled audience.
That "cool" editing, full of "style" and effects, forcing a mistery that's not there. A few jump scares, weak acting, poor script, everything feels shallow and disconnected and my God(!) the paranormal phone was a stupid idea! I'm really triggered to tell everyone how bad this movie is.
It's really not worthy watching.
It's about a really disturbing theme that has not been taken seriously.
