This was absolutely extraordinary. It's likely the best 20 minutes of Warhammer I have ever seen, a massive testosterone injection. Easily as good as Astartes, if not better.
To anyone even slightly worried: There's no political messaging, it doesn't stray from 40k in any way, it's gory, masculine and brutal. It's everything we used to get before the current-day bullies infiltrated all our IPs and hired their highly uninteresting friends to use our characters and stories as their personal trauma dumping ground.
The animation quality is on-par with Blizzard's peak material, the story is told in very few words, just an absolute masterpiece. 10/10, going to watch again right now.

This movie was like a blast from the past in more ways than one and it was definitely a worthy sequel to the first one.
Best of all: it had no forced modern day politics in it to take you out of the experience. It didn't cheapen or deconstruct the first movie, it followed it effortlessly and with joy. The sets were amazing and had the exact feeling of the first one. There was no overuse of CGI. No overt modern pop culture references that so many movies use.
Wished for a bit more music from Harry Belafonte but it worked well without it.
6.9-8/10 from me after the 1st watch. Giving it an 8 as I think it will stand the test of time.

It rewrites the lore without explaining anything. The Predator itself looks godawful, CGI mouth and a forehead that makes it look developmentally challenged. It's gadgets make no sense and also breaks lore, lacks fantasy. It's on-par with the "Tank Predator" from the last movie, only more silly looking.
The movie is woke, but instead of being *too* preachy, it chooses to take the path where you lose all suspension of disbelief. Main character is a godlike ninja and the settlers are portrayed as cartoonish buffoons akin to the crew mates in Pirates of the Caribbean.
There is so much more to write, but can't do it without spoilers. Stay away from this if you're a Predator fan. It's the worst movie yet.
