I was soooo looking forward to this movie as soon as I heard it was being made and by Danny Boyle!!!

28 Days Later was genre setting, 28 Weeks Later was one of those rare part 2 was as good if not better then part 1!

So roll up 2025 28 Years Later (would have been better as a 28 Months Later IMO) so yeah....had a watch and um...yeah...it is a pale WTF version of what we were all waiting for...who allowed this!!!! Its sadly a "try hard" movie , I bet they were getting stoned and thought massive zombie dick! No ones done that before! I cant imagine where the thought of pregnant zombie have baby..jeez tacky just tacky.

This is a great telling of some very brave men and i loved watching majority of the movie, the two big let downs to the story (which actually made me think oh this isnt real as those aint Bradleys and placed me outside the cool movie i was just watching) why have such detail in the military actions and yet FAIL to provide an Important element to the file! "the Bradleys are 2 mikes out" the Bradleys are en route" etc and yet NO Bradleys show up!!!, and no the 2nd let down, where was all the gun smoke, having been in real gun battles with dozens of weapons systems firing leaves a haze of gunsmoke (and im pretty sure some rifles weren't even ejecting rounds! (airsoft guns?) its a 5 out 10 for me could have easily been a 8 or 9.

I love supporting local cinema and this movie hit it out of the park!, Great casting (and to find out later that some of the main cast have "Never" acted before is astonishing! A true credit to the casting director) being a stickler for period authenticity I was pleased that every detail of the1950's was on display. The true heart of this story is the hard nature of some of the content regarding the treatment of "delenquent" girls of that time period and the honest and genuine nature of the charectors (yes even "Matron", (what a marvelous actress Rima is!) If you want to watch a movie for its story and not so much the "CGI" "Special Effects" then this lovely slice of cinema is for you.....Enjoy!
