Disturbing, damaging, and disgusting.
The scenes are explicit and vivid-all the violence, r*pe, and just everything.
There is no lesson. No denouement. No justification or plot for this.
Watching this and "liking" it doesn't make you tough, it makes you a creep-one that should be heavily watched within 1 feet of minors.
Did I mention the actors are traumatized? The girls you watched get "r*ped," were actually real, underaged girls, but I suppose some of the viewers liked that. What a piece of junk.
I literally read books 90% and watch movies 9% of my time and when I say there is no plot, there is no plot. The remaining plot or story in here is akin to those "plot" in p*rnography.

Season 1 was perfect, with some boring episodes in season 2. Bella Ramsey's acting is something I truly love. This mischief and cheekiness woven into her acting made her perfect for Ellie's role. Add to that her look at the time of production, which depicted Ellie's age nicely.
Throughout watching, I believe I felt actual fear and "on the edge" with how nicely done the sounds, timing, and acting were, it almost felt like I was there, in a way.
The other actors also depicted their characters with a certain flair, which was nice. They also perfectly created the infected, which was undoubtedly terrifying.
The sfx, cinematography, and props are top notch, which is to be expected with the notable funds they have.

The whole time I was watching, it felt like watching a school project. Don't get me wrong, the cast did their best, and I appreciate a good effort. But the acting does not carry the movie, the script and storyline does-which, might I add, is like watching an amateur model in flimsy bland, boring, clothes (Model being the actors; clothes being the script).
Cinematography was average, props and sfx are okay, though some of the sound effects seem out of place, which may throw some people off-to summarize, everything is just okay and nothing special.
THEY ALSO USED AI IMAGES! Which made me laugh, then skip every 5 minutes of the movie.
Do I recommend? Nah. Will I watch again? Nah.
