Fifteen minutes into this and it's obvious which demographic they made this series for... and I guess it's not me or any women like me. As a mixed woman who votes independent and and doesn't care for the whole PC culture, this show is already presumptuous and offensive to just about anyone who isn't in the minority of minority groups. If it's insulting to my intelligence, who else could stand to listen to this contrived and unrealistic dialogue?! No one talks like this! And only the worst of the worst 'incels' speak or behave that way, it's certainly not common enough to place as a main plot in a television series. Hollywood really needs to learn its lesson and give us stories that resonate with the average person, not California hipsters. I watched this for Jessica Biel because I normally like projects she's involved with, but this one really misses the mark. Please do better.
Mark Ruffalo ruined this movie. Every scene with him in it was so over the top and utterly distracting, I never want to see him cast in anything again. His horrible attempt at a Trump impression was embarrassing rather than entertaining and he needs to stop bringing his personal beliefs into his acting.
This movie is a sci fi concept that had promise, but Robert Pattinson wasn't very convincing in the lead role and his delivery of what could have been interesting dialogue is just painful. It feels like the director was backed into a corner and had to hire a less than stellar cast compared to his usual. This will be forgotten in short order.

Brady was amazing in Funny Games. As an actor, he's just fine. I thought he'd make a great joker.
However, after seeing first Vox Lux and now this, I'm really not sure why Brady gets to be a writer/director for Hollywood. He just has no vision. There's no there there, it's just occasionally nice imagery with mostly blurry, poorly lit scenes and even some amateur ones, mixed in with some gorgeous cinematography that you can't be sure came from the same person.
First question, why so much nudity? Why require so many useless sex scenes that add absolutely nothing to the plot? Because the dialogue could have been done without the porn style graphic nudity. It simply insults my intelligence and is cheaply and unrealistically executed.
What is this story actually about? I mean other than blatantly stealing from an actual immigrant's "The Fountainhead". Is it about Jewish persecution? Architecture? The the industrial revolution? Capitalism? Immigration? Religion? Rape? This movie can't make up its mind. It says "I can be anything and everything I want in 3 hours, and you're going to take it". It's not a movie anyone needs to see once, and definitely never twice.
