This was an excellent documentary and is probably going to cover any questions you would have about the series. The interviews are great and the cast and crew of every movie seemed to all have a great time with the films so they enjoy talking about the experience. This keeps the film fresh and enjoyable throughout and will keep even the most hardcore fans entertained.
The film goes through the movies one by one, speaking with various cast and crew about production and the film itself. It answers some questions and may even surprise you with some information ( IE NoES 2 having strong homosexual undertones completely surprised me. ) on each of the films. While the doc is 4 hours long, it never seems to drag and each film in the series is covered equally.
It's a wonderful companion to the series and I doubt any doc is going to come this close to being so complete and well done on any other horror series or horror flicks in general. A must own for any Freddy fan.

I'm a fairly avid horror fan and decided to check this out, sort of on a whim, after watching the trailer. Now the writers may be in familiar territory here ( As they were involved with Saw ) and there may be a few people who want to draw comparisons to that series, this is an entirely different animal.
The film does start out slightly slow introducing the story elements that are only there for the sake of having a storyline... What follows, though, is about an hour of very suspenseful moments that will keep you guessing at what will happen next. There were very few moments in which I questioned what was happening on screen, and pretty much every element of the film was plausible and well thought out. There was a proper reaction for every action, something that doesn't always happen in a horror film.
Another aspect I enjoyed was the killer... He's no invincible behemoth like Michael Myers, but he is intelligent and knows how to get the best out of those he is playing his game with. I loved the mask he had, and the contacts he wore that gave a really nifty effect to his eyes ( Which is made relevant in the film ).
The film builds up suspense in excellent ways... There are no stupid plot twists, no ridiculous explanations for anything, including the killer's motives, this film is a simple horror tale. This is where it succeeds greatly.
I'd recommend it for any genre fan, while no means is it amazing or perfect, I really enjoyed it throughout the entire film... Particularly the end. There's a satisfactory amount of gore, victims that are typical yet not butchered in the general typical fashion as in most by the numbers horror films.
It doesn't break any new ground, but if you want to have a good time at the theater watching a horror flick... Check this one out. I'd give it 4 out of 5 Corpses.

They just don't make them like this anymore. Yeah, it's a total schlock fest... But what an idea. Some dude has to fight it out in the intergalactic ring against all sorts of aliens ( AKA dudes in rubber costumes ), in classic cheesy 80's direct to video sci fi fashion. We're simply not blessed with such cornball films that are this fun anymore.

We get some blondie no name actor playing Steve Armstrong, giving those super tough guys in rubber suits a really hard time in the intergalactic fighting ring. Will the golden boy make it out alive in the ring, fighting against the behinds the scenes corruption and overcome his underdog status to become champion? You'll just have to waste some time and find out.
Yeah, everything about it technically is fairly awful, but it's a fun film. Highly recommend if you spot it on cable and you enjoy cheese-fest flicks. There's some slow moments and awful dialog throughout, but the fights are all entertaining in a goofy way, just as most of the film is. It's B grade schlock, don't go into this film expecting something amazing and you'll have a fun time.
Someone should take notice from the good ol' days of VHS and get the direct to DVD market going with fresh ideas like this, and actually have them be semi-competent productions like this film.
