I applaud the director for giving it a go but the film was very poor and terribly shot. The acting, with a couple of exceptions, was a amateurish and the shots were over egged and tedious. A couple of beacons in the mist were the inquest scene (although terribly framed) I totally believed the actor presiding over the scene, I've seen him in lots and he's very believable, and the Cameo from Michael Maloney was enjoyable.. the rest were over acting I'm afraid.
This film was made on a minuscule budget during the pandemic. It's a comedic look at the bigoted side of Britain. Brilliantly handled, well crafted with some delightful performances. Tim Faraday is both real and brilliantly funny. I hope we see him finally getting the parts he deserves 🙏
Some of the reviews I've seen on here are pretty sad. This I a very low budget film made by a young British writer/director who got off his backside and made a movie. How about some of you 'armchair critics' try doing something with your lives instead of pouring scorn over a group of young film makers learning their trade. Mark Heap Tim Faraday been in high end films but they seemed equally at home and happy in this! Well done Ben Kent!!
