I've never played the game, sorry to say. But I did watch the series here and had difficulty seeing a continuous story and difficulty caring about the characters. I found it boring at times. There were some moments of course but they became fewer and far between. Maybe didn't try hard enough or was distracted, but this one lacked a hook for me. And I'm a big fan of fantasy and animation. Wish I had better things to say.
I'd read the many many reviews that are negative about Nobody 2. Most complaints center around the 'cartoonish' style of the film (in contrast the the original) and the character played by Sharon Stone. In some ways I agree with some of those assessments. But, because I'd heard the complaints in advance, I decided to approach the sequel movie as a stand alone, thus dropping my expectations for a genetically similar film to the original. It worked for me, and I generally enjoyed the film, but not like the original.
The producers made no effort to make this film "like the original". Instead of dark and gritty, this one is sunny, bright, comedic -- even during the fight scenes (of which there are many) there are actual cartoon sounds made when some hits land. Weird.
And I didn't find Sharon Stone's character to be quite as bad as some reviews warn, but she wasn't a good or memorable character either.
My advice... treat this like a stand alone.

Hell on Wheels is no typical 'western', if that's what you want to call it. It's a genuine masterpiece of storytelling, acting and directing centered on a pivotal turning point (for better or worse) in U. S. history.
And let's get this out front: Anson Mount is the magic that pulls it all together. The rest of the cast is superb and compelling too.
Recently (2025) a close friend of mine kept telling me about a great show she was binging... Hell on Wheels. I thought it was some kind of motorcycle gang show, based on the name. When I discovered it was about the building of the transcontinental railroad, and, most importantly, Anson Freakin' Mount was the lead... I had to check it out.
All that said, I fully recommend Hell on Wheels to anyone looking for a captivating series.
