So I read some reviews of this film and most were around 5 or 6. Thought I would give it a go anyway. WOW is all I can say.
Firstly I had never heard of these amazing women and the difficult and unenviable job they accomplished during WW2.
Secondly they absolutely achieved the result with dignity and respect.
I am guessing the negative reviews are from white males. I gave this 8 out of 10.
The main reason not to give it 10 was that it was (in reference to war) pretty inaccurate. The battle scenes didnt seem to be researched enough to be believable.
Apart from that, this is an emotional tear jerker but feel good film at the same time.

I do love the scandi movies and tv series but this was dismal.
Actually the storyline was ok (hence the 1 star) but the acting was the worst I have ever seen in all my years of watching movies.
Acting seemed forced and amateurish, it was as if they hadn't even been to acting school.
I endured it just to see the ending.
This film could have been so much better with 2 different lead actors. The husband and wife should not be allowed to even call themselves professional actors as they are an embarrassment to the profession.
Do yourself a favour and avoid this at all costs. I would get more enjoyment out of a cartoon.
