Bo Burnham has essentially handed the viewer a mirror of themselves during their early teen years. And while not everything like the technology is the same now or for the previous generation. The anxiety, cringe and wanting to fit in still resonates throughout all generations of viewers. Bo casted an 8th grader to play an 8th grader and Ellie knocked it out of the park. This is not a film, this is a cold look at the danger and awkwardness of growing up in the age of technology where heightened sexuality and stimulation are dominant in youth culture. 10/10 e v e r y o n e should watch this movie, especially 8th graders entering 9th grade. It will provide a sense of comfort and realization.
I haven't watched this whole series, I watch about 20 minutes with my younger sister and that's all I needed to see. 0 effort, 0 budget, 0 acting skill, 100% lazy , %100 un creative
If you want something for your kids show them something good (by kid shows standards) like little Einstein's or peppa pig or we bare bears. Nuff' said.
Once I started watching this I couldn't stop! It's weird, creepy and makes you uncomfortable. The first season is flawless, the second season is like an 8.5 out of 10, highly recommend to anyone who likes the odd or weird.
