The film was more like a documentary type. As watching from the beginning I felt it somewhat similar to ayushman khurana movie article 15. The film basically deals with casteism prevailed in India, the poor village conditions, police department attitude towards the people and all. The film as a whole doesn't contain any bgm or elevation scenes. It depicts how a raw investigation is done. At the end it gives us the reality that we cannot change the social evils present in our society. We should accept the reality. We won't get that hope that was given in the 'Article 15' movie from this movie santhosh. The performance of all actors were good.

Film misses the gripping experience as compared to its predecessor. More like a predictable end and situations. The predecessor had a charm and thrilling story on its own but the second was unable to cope up with its first. Character performance were ok but still was not impressive. The lack of better screenplay was seen all around the movie. They start with good but as we move they try to anyhow reach the climax in any way. I am not saying that its so boring but i felt some plot problems in the film. Overall We can watch it for one time nothing more couldn't be expected from it. Had made a better climax.

Said to be based on real incidents and real characters. Since the film focuses on newspaper and news it's very interesting to watch the movie. The movie is a clean cut no use of unnecessary elements introduced in the movie. Great to see the both Big M's on screen. IV sasi brilliantly made this movie with his wife Seema playing an important role. We could see IV sasi 's directorial skills in this movie to make the engaging and enjoyable. Should say it is enjoyable during nowadays also. Movie starts with mamooty playing lead but then comes mohanlal 's entry which turned the direction of the movie. Both acted well in their part. Actually it's a must watch from the 80s movies.
