The acting in this film was horrendously horrific- I've never seen worse in a lifetime movie thriller. The main actress is terrible, I don't know if her character is supposed to be American or Latina of some sort because if American, she does a horrible job of masking her true accent. Her acting is even more terrible. Her emotions and acting is so forced. The casting in this did a terrible job in all roles though, really the only one that I found somewhat lifetime-worthy was the actor who played Diego. Skip this one, it's not worth the time.
Acting: Horrific Plot: Same as all the others Screenplay: Boring.

It's not a winner but I pretty much expected that when it's produced by a b-rated production company. The singing was so autotuned and terrible, their lip-syncing was horrific, and the story was so confusing that I just couldn't like it. The only things I liked was the location. None of the original songs were good or classified as true country in my book, but to each his own. The acting wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't Oscar-worthy.
It is what it is. That's really all I can say. It's not the best movie ever but as I said before, what else can you expect from a b-rated production company.

So I'm a huge fan of lifetime and hallmark movies, I know they're almost always predictable and pretty much the same plot every time (a couple who are enemies/dislike each other but then end up falling in love or a couple who had been together before but had to leave their hometown mainly for business reasons then comes home and they end up getting back together for life) but this movie isn't like that too much, which is not bad. I really loved the plot, but the writing and screenplay for this was a little jumbled and really had me confused between the past and present in the film. Acting wasn't terrible but not Oscar-worthy, plot was pretty good, but like I said, the way they set up the screenplay was really confusing. I don't know if I'd watch again.
