Great period piece, good actors, nice nudity (not overly there as in other series about rome). I like the depiction of how Rome could have been for the raining romans and the normal folk. Robert Fabbri's novels depict this really well. I even thougt he could have been an advisor. So many aspects in the series relates to the novels, the local gangs of the neighbourhood who take care of the hood. The horse racing with the 4 different colours. So much I already read in Robert's novels. I wish they could have also done more on being a legionaire. A part of Rome, the part of Rome which made it successful. Still, great series recommend it to anyone who likes a period piece.
What can I say about this wacky fun loving documentary about one of Britain's much loved band's Saxofonist, Lee. The band being Madness of course. After reading Lee's auto bio you find out he was never intended to become a Sax player, singer or songwriter but he did and still does. I've seen Madness life more then 40 times and Lee has stage presence, can sing and plays a mean sax. This film explains a little bit on how Lee became Lee, but most of all it's a fun ride. I have a blink you'll miss me part but I'm proud to be part of it, all of 10 seconds. May Madness and Lee keep on playing as the world needs bands like Madness.
Watching this movie, it's all so cynical now.
