I have to give this a 1 star. That is because I think it is so overrated and overhyped, I feel personally responsible to bring down the rating so that people who have not seen it yet are not misled! I honestly do not know what is the big fuzz about! The story is very meh, nothing too mind blowing. Also second half soo noisy! The characters introduced in the later part of the movies were simply screaming non stop. I have sensitive ears, and honestly I felt like I was going to go deaf! It got to a point where I had to walk out of the theatre. Who are the people hyping this up and what's the motivation behind, I wonder!

Comedy is nowadays a dying genre. This saddens me to think how we ended up in this situation. I have nothing against superhero movies, and I get that theatres now only make profit from superhero movies. That's fine! But I feel we need to bring comedy movies back. Sometimes you just need to chill and take it easy, have a laugh, forget about the problems in your life, and enjoy couple of good hours.

And as for this movie, it's a nice comfy movie. You know what you are going to get from a Sandler's movie. If you find it unfunny and feel superior about it! Then I'd say you need to chill a little and have a laugh!

I've never watched any previous beetlejuice - movie or series, whatever was available, I didn't even know the new beetlejuice is a sequel until the very last minute when I heard couple of people at the cinema talking about how they loved previous beetlejuice movie and excited to watch the new one. I was in the city and had few hours to kill, and decided to just go watch it. So basically I went in with no pre-expectations! Let me tell you this was a very fun movie. I thoroughly enjoyed the quirkiness - all the characters were entertaining and well crafted. It didn't have any slow moment. VISUALLY it was very PLEASING 😍! And as mentioned I've not watched the previous movie, so no prior knowledge was required. I'd highly recommend it. 10/10 for me.
