I saw this movie in early 2000, mainly because I was forced to (it was for school). That's probably why I didn't get it at all, because I was just too angry that I had to see this.

From all of the other comments that people have left, they've said it was good. From my point of view, this movie was just different. It may not have made sense to me, but it seems that this movie is "genius" to the latter. And whatever the heck this movie was about...someone let me know.

The only thing I did like about this movie was the man in the ice cream truck. Also when they featured cartoons. That's about it.

If you want to see this movie...be my guest. Just be prepared for, I guess, "thought provoking" cinema.

It was nice to see a really old movie (okay not old, but from the 1980s) starring a really young Brad Pitt in a movie that could have actually had some potential. (and I stress "could have")

"The Dark Side of the Sun" had some potential to be a great movie. The storyline was definately there: a young man, whom throughout his whole life has had to live in darkness because of a skin disease, longs for the intimacy that he could never have. So because of his skin disease, the only way that he could live life was if a) the windows in his home were all shut tight and b) if he traveled around on a motorcycle with a leather suit that showed no skin.

Not that the movie's heart was in the wrong place: I mean, it shows that whole angsty-longing we have as we grow from teens to adults. We all want something that we probably can never have. And it kills us to know that. And it also brought up a very interesting skin disease that most people (or myself) didn't know about. So it educated the viewer as well.

The main problem with the movie? Just the acting. It was horrible. Not that *I* could do a better job, but my goodness. Brad Pitt was definitely good (can't really deny that sparkly smile and bright baby blues), but as for some of the other co-stars that I won't mention, it just made some of the dialogue a little, hokey. Particularly one scene, which was just awful. I laughed instead of, I guess, cried (it was a weepy moment). But for some reason...I stuck it through. I watched this movie, even though it was difficult.

To sum it up: storyline good, some of the acting bad, lame dialogue, Brad Pitt rules all. Amen.

When I described this show to people, they gave me the look over. NO ONE believed me when I said there was a show about a chimp in a high rise building, wearing a grey suit with a red tie, sitting in a leather chair, speaking English. And another girl chimp in a dress, also speaking English (Yeah, would YOU have believed me?).

I remember Nickelodeon briefly showed it, and it's one of the shows that I vividly remember when I watched back in the good ol' days of Nick with "You Can't Do that On Television," and "Double Dare" (aka the 1980s). I remember it either came on before, or after "The Monkees." I highly enjoyed this, because the chimps were talking! And it was so cool how they got them to interact, and I guess "act" human. It was so funny. And I was like, 4 or 5 or something. So basically anything that came on I got a kick out of.

I have searched high and low for information on this show. It has taken me forever to figure out what the title was. I heard it was on TV Land, but I don't think it is anymore. Everytime I see someone doing a "chimp" thing where they have clothes on, I totally think of this show. I finally have closure on it now. I know I'm not crazy.

If you have a chance...look around for it on TV! The one scene I described is the only thing I can remember. If I enjoyed it when I was 4, then it has to be good, something good for the kids.
