Mann Fakiraa....woo...ho..woo..ohh!!
Here's a refreshing, lovely movie about real people, surroundings. The plot is quite amusing, intriguing and the situation that the newly weds Riya-Bhushan land into....may be true for many of us!! The two have their own past.....they think....they have moved on/got over!! There is a dialogue....the truth... you are responsible for your own happiness!! This though seems to be difficult, as it is in real world!! the odd couple, Riya-Bhushan decide to take the risk and go find their own happiness and love of life....in London!!
The story moves well with the four lead characters showing their colours..... Mahi (remarkable Anjali Patil) is fiercely independent somewhat eccentric woman, having negative view about the institution of marriage. Nachiket (hot and suave Ankit Mohan) is a self-made, opportunist man who always keeps options!! Bhushan (perfect fit, Suvrat Joshi)is a tad confused but an honest man who cannot cut his family ties and Riya(Outstanding Sayali Sanjeev)......I found her, the strongest, clear, honest woman.... As Bhushan's mother, played effortlessly by Renuka daftardar....says...Riya is a good girl... to the core!!
From the trailer and the lovely, apt songs....one gets fair idea about the climax!! But as always in a movie/play...the treatment matters the most!! First time writer-director, famous actor Mrunamayee Deshpande nails it!! The subject, the treatment are close, relatable, simple and refreshing!! In all, it's a must watch!! Take a bow, team Mann Fakiraa!! Hope we get to watch more from Mrunamayee and team!!
