Bad writing, bad acting, bad plot, bad directing, bad camera, & bad sound. Coulda lived my whole life without watching the first of this series, Blind Date.
I'm sure it was so bad due to a very, Very low budget. And I feel for this kind of amateurish production: I've been in theatre most of my life and this reminded me of some of the bleaker community theatre productions I've encountered. But at least those had good scripts and decent actors.
This wasn't even so bad so as to become a parody of itself. Please, for the sake of your soul, your sanity, your sanctity, please abstain from watching this.
That typed, I sincerely hope all the folks involved in this endeavor improve and have successful futures.

We are big Grimm (David Guintoli) fans & love Skip Chaser Randy (Flulah Borg). When our daughter found this movie, we were happy to have two fine actors (plus Claire Coffee, also from Grimm) whom we could watch together. What a pleasant surprise to discover they also co-wrote. We've only watched half, but are loving it. The humor isn't always uproarious, but it's on par for some times this aging man has had with his friends while adventuring through life. It's how life is: sometimes it's laugh out loud, sometimes not. The acting is good enough to engage us & the scenic shots has moments that are spectacular and bring me right back to younger days when backpacking was a larger part of my life. The journey the characters make is an allegorical trek we all make after times of heartbreak. We travel the wilderness of our emotions with our friends, as we dwell quietly in our thoughts, to arrive at a place we weren't sure we'd reach again. I recommend this for people who want something both simple and profound because that simplicity.
I find this show to be a fine parody of government. I think the writers are intentionally not trying to be profoundly funny, just making the dialogue as absurd as a good parody should be. I find it an often witty look at how clueless & densely dysfunctional people who try to "run" a massive city can be. Good intentions often run afoul with ego and external mishaps make for a lighthearted bunch of fun.
