If you're a fan of thought-provoking sci-fi, Dark Matter is a must-watch. With its intricate plot, complex characters, and mind-bending twists, it's a show that will keep you hooked from start to finish. Great casting, acting, story, endless possibilities, where the story can twist and carry you around on unthought paths. Just wanted to invite you to enjoy a different piece of art which makes you think, wander, get lost in it, guess and be surprised of what might come next. There is so much detail in every scene that it shows every minute of the series have been thought through, the mystery building is perfect, and the symbolism is everywhere and there is reference to some popular concepts in the internet age like backrooms, Liminal spaces, black cube etc.
I'd say survival horror at its best, and I really hope there will be further instalments to this story! The game's narrative depth, combined with its intense, immersive gameplay, kept me on the edge of my seat. The graphics were stunning, and the sound design added an extra layer of tension that made every moment unforgettable. The character development and storyline were compelling, drawing me deeper into the game's universe with each twist and turn. The Callisto Protocol was well worth the wait and money. I truly hope the negative reviews do not deter Striking Distance from moving forward with the sequel and any other further remakes to keep this franchise going.
Euphoria does not judge any characters for who they are, but praise's them. The cinematography and lighting I might add encapsulates you in the moment, it feels like a twisted dream of blue and purple. The characters have depth, flaws and layers which makes them all the more relatable. The acting particularly from Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Barbie Ferreira and Jacob Elordi (This show proves he can act, as being a terrifying sociopath) Even the show's main antagonist Nate has layers. No character is one-dimensional. The topics and storyline that each of these characters goes through are all equally compelling and relatable, and overall an amazing emotional masterpiece. Each episode is better than the one before, with excellent narration and character backstory.
