I absolutely LOVED SATC original series and somewhat like the first movie. This series is terrible! So contrived and totally unrelatable now. On episode 2 of Season 2 and I can't even imagine finishing this, even for Samantha's cameo or Aidan returning. The main/original characters have lost their spark and their sex scenes (ALL OF THEM) just gross me out. The writing is awful and I couldn't care less about a single character and everything just feels so worried about being politically correct. I agree with something another reviewer said - not EVERY series needs to have representation from EVERY race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs etc.. especially just for the sake of marking off those check marks.

BTW I support everyone's right to be with whom they choose or how they choose to identify themselves but come ONNNNN this is freaking ridiculous!!! I'm gagging with how hard it's being shoved down my throat. This series just SUCKS.

I bought a subscription to Showtime just to watch this since it's been hyped so much and I love JLC and Michelle Yeoh. I'm only an hour into the movie and I do not see what the hype was about. I'm going to finish it because my card was already charged the monthly fee but I don't have high hopes at all that it will suddenly be a great movie. I just had to pause the movie and come to the reviews cause I knew I couldn't be alone in thinking how absurd and just stupid this movie is.

Also, why is there a required character limit now to post reviews? I'm only typing out all this to fulfill it. DUMB!

First off, I rarely write any reviews so the fact I am writing one says someting about how much I loved this series. I do not like soccer, previously wasn't a huge fan of Jason Sudekis and just generally hard to impress with tv shows/movies. From the first episode I was hooked and I got through both seasons in one weekend. I laughed and I cried. It was not cheesy/corny, over-acted nor predictable as most shows are today. I loved most of the characters. The only one that really didn't do anything for me nor the series I felt was Coach Beard. He was always just there and I didn't rate this a 10 because of the one off episode (Season 2, ep 9) about his crazy night annoyed me because it robbed us of the typical, wonderful Ted Lasso-esque episode. Obviously, soccer is featured but it isn't the focus which is good for those of us like myself who do not watch soccer. Do yourself a favor and watch this - you will not be dissapointed.
