Having survivors from the battle, and death of what the narrator voiced over on the program, "The Death Star" helped bring another story, similar to that of James Cameron's TITANIC, a human element. In addition to see inside of the wreck and see that leather still survives for sixty years at the depth of almost sixteen thousand feet below sea-level shadows a darkness over this terrible war. A program that is a must own for Cameron Buffs, and World War Two historians. This film garnered several accolades, especially an Academy Award for best visual effects in that year. Also incredible idea of the novel. In addition, wonderful cast with Angela L. in her first of many Disney films (voice of Mrs. Potts in Beauty an the Beast). An excellent concept for a film of that time. I would recommend this to every family to get this one-it also teaches a bit of history. See you on the re-release of this classic on March 20, 2001.
