The action movie is technically well done, considering shooting, special effects, edition, and so forth. The story is obviously absurd, as it is based in an one-army man (contrasting to very incompetent shooters as enemies). Worse than that (as action flicks in general actually use not to be reasonale and credible), in the core there is a hateful assumption which is also present in the great majority of the Hollywood filmography on the Vietnam War: the Vietnamese are the bad guys (and not the ones who were protecting themselves from the invaders) and the problem of the action by the United States was not desrespecting another country's sovereignity and murdering a high number of people just for satisying their geopolitical interests, but only not taking care of their brave soldiers who love their fatherland and fight for it. Rambo's speech in the very end also emphasizes it, and it is silly. Anyway, the film is a popcorn classic and amuses as an empty-mind pastime despite the political sins.
Tepid ESPN 30 for 30 documentary about Michael Chang's sucessful tennis career since childhood, a little more interesting when discussed either Asian immigration or Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras under-18 generation of US tennis players. It lacks foccus when eventualy addresses Chang's trips to Asia and his reactions towards Tiananmen Square protests and massacre. His triumphs in pro international competitions, supposed to be the pinnacle, are discussed in a quite tepid part of the film.
Very irregular dark humor spoof, with many ups and downs. I loved Nicholas Cage as Count Dracula, an amusing satire of Bram Stoker's vampire, reminding a lot Bela Lugosi's version. There are some other nice characters too, and funny moments. However, there are several too silly situations and the recurrent battle royale scenes full of slow motion and spiting blood were absolutely stupid (and actually are epidemic in streaming cinema). To.resume, the movie was not a disaster, but was very below the expectations I had since I knew that a movie focused on character Renfield would be released, what had a great potential.
