Second B-movie movie I have seen in a short time that immediately drops to a C-movie due to cheap lazy CGI, especially in the driving scenes and where the car falls off the bridge. PRODUCERS/DIRECTORS: THAT CGI/CAR ANIMATION engine does NOT do the job. You can try to camouflage it with "fog/darkness", but it still feels wrong. And it is VERY clear that it is cheap animation when the cars are in motion. They DO NOT BEHAVE LIKE REAL CARS, and it SCREAMS ANIMATION. Please stop using the animation for anything else than children movies and animation movies. Or do a MAJOR upgrade to MUCH better CGI/animation. I could have enjoyd this B-action, but the children movies animated cars on the bridge totally ruined it for me.
I loved the book by Anne Holt and looked forward to
watch the serie version together with my wife.
In fact, since this was an adoption of just one of the many books with the main charecter, I hoped this would be the start on many seasons.
My hopes were high for this serie as I saw there were some good actors in it too, and the director had made good stuff earlier. But this production unfortunately just does not work well. For some reason, the indoor scenes gave me a made-for-TV feeling of a low budget soap opera production. I don't know if it was the camera/lens that was used, the color grading, camera angles, directions or a combination of it all. The acting and script also gave med soap opera feeling. Even from the good actors I respect. To the Norwegian readers, I can tell that it looked to me like they had used the exact same team as were making the soap opera "Hotel Ceasar".
But to be fair, my wife enjoyed the series, so if you can look beyond my objections, it may be worth while entertainment.

This and the Kingsman are the two funniest spy movies I have seen the last decade. However, where the The Kingsman is an elegant over the top violent movie, the «Spy» is an elegant action spy movie with funny surprises where things goes wrong and the humor can be vulgar from time to time (plump), but done perfectly. Definetly NOT a family comedy to watch with the kids, but a GREAT laugh for grown ups. I have not laughed as much in years, and I am a person that not usually laughs of vulgarities. Jason Statham is fantastic in his role, making fun of his own film character he has build over the years. You will LOVE the film if you allow the crazyness to entertain you, and hate it if you can't accept profanities/sex jokes and expect a political correct movie.
