Classificação de Surya-43
I enjoyed Ponniyin Selvan so much. I watched this film more than twice. The story is easy to engage for all kinds of viewers. Especially those who is looking for mystical movie can watch this film without delay.
The screenplay, acting, camera work everything was fine. Director Manirathnam deserves special thanks for bringing this literature master piece into celluloid. However, I have a complain about the cast. I personally did not like Jayam Ravi in Ponniyin Selvan's role. He himself is an amazing character no doubt on that. But Jayam looked too accomplished for this role and did not resemble the character. The character has its own aura which I felt missing in this portrayal. Surya, Prithwiraj Sukumaran or Kiccha Sudeepa could have been a good choice in this role. I also want to mention Gopichand's name. Ponniyin Selvan deserves an actor with a darker skin tone to play this role. Overall, the movie is well made and entertaining.

The story of the film is surprisingly good. The way the suspense element is unfold has been executed so well. The climax was quite surprising and has been showcased beautifully.
Hero Gopichand is undoubtedly the best choice for the film and his performance is quite impressive. He is good in the action sequences and carries the film on his shoulders. Raashi Khanna does a housewife material character in this film and supports Gopichand. The technical aspect of the film was quite surprising, as I assume they've used several green screen technology and the result was amazing. Hero Gopichand should act films like Oxygen rather than acting in junks like Bhima or Vishwa.

Pakka Commercial is a very entertaining movie. I laughed from the start to the end of the movie. Director Maruthi did a great job as a director. Raasi Kanna pulled out the low-key character nicely. Her appearance was entertaining as well. The main power of this film is Gopichand. His acting was so good both in comic and serious scenes. In action sequences Gopichand was superb. The songs were amazing as well. Loved the location, arrangement and camera work of this film. To be honest, some of the supporting characters were irritating as the were overacting. Moreover, Pakka Commercial as a title is well deserved for this film.
