Like the killers in the movie who failed at trying to be witty and interesting, so has this movie. The plot was slow, boring, and the cast just couldn't support it. There were also some scenes that I thought were just ridiculous. This is definitely one of Sandra Bullocks poorest films and one of the poorest of all time.
This movie tried to do too much in too little time. It was suppose to be a martial arts, love, friendship and hate film. It tried to be intense, then funny. Like many of the present day HK films, they have to make everything comical. I actually thought this would be a serious film, but it was comedy/drama, and i don't think that's a good combo at all. All in all, this movied tried to do too much in too little time and ended up nothing at all!!
This is one of the movies I'd recommend to anyone in want of a good movie. It was very enjoyable and although there weren't unpredictable twists, it didn't fail to keep me attentive.
Story-line: Lon (Daniel Wu) was born with an injured face. Him an his brother are hired killers until something happened, which prompts a turn in the story.
Stephen Fung and Daniel Wu both gave awesome performances. Although, I haven't seen many HK films, it seems that they are taking a turn and for the better. Very enjoyable.
