I absolutely loved the woman who played the lead, she is so beautiful and her acting was really solid. She gave the character so much emotion, and I was rooting for her the whole time.
But when it came to the action scenes, hmm... she definitely needs more training. Some of the moves felt malamya and lacked that sharpness or intensity. And what really threw me off, she was basically indestructible. Like, girl went through all those fights and didn't even get a scratch on her face? Not even a bruise? It felt super unrealistic at times.
The storyline was on point though. I honestly loved where it was going, and I have a feeling that in the next part, her mother will be revealed, which is gonna add even more depth.
And I just have to say this... John Wick is sooo legendary, and this girl? She's definitely giving off those same energy vibes. I feel like she feels him, like she's channeling that same intensity.
Flaws and all, I still enjoyed it. Just hoping the next one gives us tighter action and a bit more realism.

Karate Kid has always been one of the most iconic movies ever, so I guess I was expecting a lot from Legend. It wasn't bad, but something about it felt kinda rushed. The storyline had potential, but it needed more depth.
I know Jackie Chan is getting older, but I really hoped to see more of him teaching Li Fong. That dynamic could've been so powerful, but it felt like it got skipped over too fast.
And the villain? No backstory, no context, just vibes. I wanted to understand their side a bit more, even just a little glimpse. The movie left me with a lot of questions, like it was missing something important... I just can't say exactly what.
It had the right pieces, but it didn't hit the same emotional or epic notes as the originals. I still enjoyed parts of it, but for a title like Legend, I wanted more.
