I thought this was a variation of 'The Manchurian Candidate', it was. And it wasn't. The first couple of episodes were slow. But once it got moving it was well done. There were some things that made you go 'hmmm', but nothing that really took away from the story.

Ultimately, this could have a great second series. I hope they do.

A number of reviews compare this to Walking Dead. No. This is more like Stargate SG-1, harnesses=goa'uld. The survivalist thing is more like the post nuclear movies from the 60's. Calling it walking dead with aliens is really unimaginative, and really says you don't know your movie history. If you watch it, think about those. Not walking dead.

Much like the movie U571, Argo is an American work of fiction. Taking credit for something they didn't do. In U571 it was the British. In this instance it was Canadians. 100%. The Americans had little to nothing to do with what happened. They simply like rewriting history to fit their worldview. No one else's.
