It is anoher smart and delightful story, without any murder, as many other episodes of this anthology show. It is light hearted and saves you an exquisite ending, one of the most unpredictable of the entire series. That's very important indeed, to prepare an unforgettable ending. Funny, riveting, I would put this episode on the bottom of the top batch, just before the top of the medium batch. From time to time, it's good not to have any murder. Just plot, as here. I hope and am sure you will appreciate, maybe not love, just like.
Of course, it is a typical ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS show episode, very brilliant, smart, riveting. It is perfect for the whole family. You already know the plot, so I won't repeat it. This plot is about a suspicion scheme, the most recurrent of the whole show. Suspicion about a husband suspected by neighbors to have killed his wife. From ths, everything may be possible in terms of twist and surprising endings. This episode makes no exception. Good, smooth, but for AH PRESENTS buffs, it is just an excellent routine story.
