Is it as good as the original Jurassic park movie? No! Did I expect it to be? Also no! What I did expect was interesting characters, dinosaurs, people getting eaten by dinosaurs and John Williams original score so on all those it absolutely delivers! Really enjoyed the character of Duncan as the actor played him with such heart and of course Jonathan Bailey steals the show in most scenes of anything hes in. Not necessarily a bad thing but it did show some lacking talent from numerous other actors. The plot was a little vague which its probably because it's based on the book that should have taken place straight after the first movie. A very good watch that I'd recommend, as long as the T-Rex keeps coming out swinging of course!

I didn't know much about the back story to this movie so had no expectations going in. I love Cornwall so was interested to see them hiking the beautiful landscape. Parts of the movie were hard to watch but in a good way that reminds you to count your blessings. Something so simple such as shelter, many of us take for granted but this movie reminds us what it is to just survive. The backdrop of Cornwall was of course incredible and I thought the soundtrack added a bit too. Don't get me wrong if you're expecting a hollywood movie of epic proportions then this won't be for you but if you're a fan of true story movies or after a simple inspiring story this definitely hits the mark.
