I'd heard a lot about this movie, so I was curious, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The animation style was fantastic, with particularly strong expressions of emotion. I also really liked the songs and the characters.

My only issue was the plot. While I appreciate the effort, I found it too predictable and similar to other movies.

However, I definitely see potential in this new animation style. If they could find a truly unique story, I would appreciate it much more.

If you like the animated version, I advice to stay as far away as possible from this version, because it will ruin it for you. Or at least make you feel disappointed. I was very exited at first, because I loved the animated version. I thought it would be a more realistic version, but with a little modern touch. But it was over the top bad. It lacks so much that the original had, including the magic, the moral of the story, the charm of the characters, the music. When I was watching it, I felt so much disappointment. Real cashgrab from Disney, making you want to watch this because of nostalgia.

First I was afraid it would be a cashgrab movie, another franchise movie... but in my opinion it's not. It's well done! I enjoyed it very much. It has the typical Bridget Jones elements. Surprisingly the plot is more serious and even gave me a few tears. It's not anything special, but enjoyable and even worth watching a second time! The typical Bridget Jones humor was very good. Laughed so hard at several points in the movie. Love that! Only, I don't know what Hugh Grant was doing in the movie... seemed a bit unnecessary to add him in the story. Probably nostalgia, cause he wasn't adding anything new.
