Suhaan, an aspiring actor decides to help his ex college friend, Agasthya, to marry his ex wife, Piya, so that he can save himself from the alimony he has to pay to his ex wife.
Jaan e Mann is a sweet combination of romantic, funny and musical but with some little flaws as well. Although the film is very enjoyable and has cinematic depth, its story was a bit overused and clichè that slightly lowers its magic.
Film has some major strong points like great acting performances from Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, mind-blowing music and amazing chemistry between the lead and the side actors. But the most important thing that this movie achieve is its cinematic brilliance. I mean, when was the last time we saw such a colorful, and a visually aesthetic movie like this one? Although most of the romantic 2000s films were actually musicals but this movie stands out to be truly musical due to its execution, use of vibrant colors to enlight every set, and most importantly, timeless songs and music that made this movie a musical masterpiece for Indian Cinema.
On the other hand, movie has some flaws too, like an average performance by Preity Zinta, an old and clichè plot and some useless comedy props (like of Anupam Kher). Apart from these things, movie is fantastic.
For all the users reading this, if you haven't watched this movie, please give it a chance because it's a worth watching film and a very rewatchable film too because musicals like these aren't seem much these days. It's like Bollywood has truly lost it's craft in making some timeless films like this.

Four totally different stories having different yet interesting characters, intersect each other on a fateful day.
What a movie! It is just amazing. So many characters, immaculate direction, and a masterclass screenplay. This movie is a killer combination of these powers. Ludo is a very entertaining movie that talks about fate and destiny, and how life is like a game, quite similar to a game of Ludo. No matter what you do, there is only fate which can either make you or break you. It is such a refreshing touch to Hindi Cinema, which breaks so many stereotypes, adding a "Pulp Fiction" like touch to our movie experiences. Easily a must-watch and an amazing rewatchable movie.
This movie has such an ensembled cast and everyone did an outstanding job. Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi were fantastic as always. Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sania Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Sheikh also did well. Rahul Saraf and Pearle are currently new in this line and they still did it pretty well but, Abhishek Bachchan did such an outstanding job. I was shocked at how good he was in his roles, probably the best performance throughout the movie and one of his career's best works.
The most important part of this movie, to me, is its outstanding direction and beautiful cinematography. Anurag Basu, you have my respect. Such a wonderful job. He has been one of my favorite directors for a long time since the day I watched "Barfi!" His style of direction, his attention to detail, and his ability to get the best out of his cast members make him one of the best directors in India right now. Cinematography is also a huge plus point of this movie. You will see different color palettes throughout the entire movie, exclusive for each storyline and resembling the different colors of Ludo. Cinematically, this movie is just WOW!
Once you see this movie, you will notice that it is not just a dark comedy, it is filled with different issues and messages. How life is unfair to some people and how unpredictable life is. Again I'm saying, it is a must-watch, so go and have a watch.

Even if we are stuck in the never-ending rat race or threatened by the darkness of our minds, even if our lives get limited, we can still make it no matter what. It is a very soft and touching movie experience that truly resonates.
Shoojit Sircar is really a movie mastermind. This movies are mostly unconventional and don't follow the mainstream cinema but still they feel like mainstream cinema. This choice of subject, his casting choice, and his style of filmmaking, everything shows how absurdly talented he is as a filmmaker. I really loved all of his films but, after watching this movie "I want to talk", it feels like this movie lies somewhere between "Piku" and "October" where "Piku" talks about love for family, "October" talks about affection and empathy for someone you know, "I want to talk" talks about love for yourself. I guess it is now an unofficial trilogy by Shoojit Sircar. "Piku", "October", and "I want to talk".
All of the actors nailed their roles. Abhishek Bachchan gave one of the best performances of his career so far. Ahilya Bamroo appeared for the first time on the big screen, but she still gave her best. Johnny Lever also gave such a brilliant performance, breaking the stereotype. I really hope he keeps on doing such different roles that are out of his comfort zone.
This movie is filled with so many messages such as the competitive corporate sector, the effects of separation on children and shortness of life. In every sense, this movie is going to help you a lot in becoming a better person.
