"Revenged Love" was recently uploaded on Viki and I usually watch K- Drama, not C-Drama due to the scripts sometimes. The title caught my eye since I like revenge dramas and decided to give C-Drama a fair chance and one more try. When I watched the first 2 episodes , i mentioned just that and my comment was censored. First time watching it, never read any book or heard of it before.

Here are my comments:

Ep. 1 & 2 - The type of thing that would give me nightmares and why I hesitate on C-Drama. Maybe just me, but I just can't handle nightmarish stuff and sorry I started this at night. The snake scenes made me close my eyes but it went on and on and then they kept replaying snake scenes. Decided to watch one more episode to see if I would keep watching or not.

Ep. 5 - By the time I got to episode 5, I was still watching because it draws you in so far.

Mid drama there was some kind of controversy where it got racy and then suddenly paused with no more uploads. Eventually there was an announcement that fans should not worry the drama would continue and a date was given.

Drama re-started and seemed to be a little more toned down IMO upon its return. While it was on break, I did research the 2 MLs and found the one ML had his own issue to deal with at one point in real life that involved some kind of abuse where he told his story publicly and some thought it may hurt his career? Not sure of the details but he seems to be popular for his bravery in real life and is receiving roles. My favorite actor in this was the one who had the overbearing father.

Final - Entire drama was better than expected, although mostly predictable knowing how this revenge scheme would turn out in the end. The last episode seemed cut-off unexpectedly in the middle of the song. Didn't seem right. Must have been the editing or bad editing or trying to squeeze too much in too little time of these fairly short episodes. While the short episodes are popular now with concise points in a short time, sometimes they seemed cut-off or something missing.

The quoted " it's never wrong to do the right thing" was the best thing about this movie. First time seeing it for me, as it was just new on NETFLIX 2025, so it's a little dated. The ML was very sweet; the movie was way too predictable although the ending in regard to the CEO came out a little different than I was expecting. It is typical to put in that many hours on a start-up company so script for FL seemed appropriate, however the age comments from employees didn't for that time period and didn't seem all that funny.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Closet Battle that was just released on Netflix 8/2025. Will continue to watch as is fun. Caught my attention as always love the good fashion sense the Korean's have. This show has 2 hosts (the male was familiar to me, the female not so much as started watching K-Drama a few years ago). They each go into a guest's closet snd restyle them with the clothes they already have and also bring some new items with for added help (in competition with each other). Wasn't familiar with the 2 guests since they were retro actors perhaps, but still fun - 1 older, 1 younger.

The older woman looked absolutely fabulous in the all white outfit, however she had her own feeling about it.

The younger guy looked absolutely coolest hot guy in the Kanye West look and glasses. Unbelievable transformation! I could see him in a Chicago trendy bar, unlike the other outfit that was claimed to be the western "NY look" I highly doubt! But thats what makes it fun, to see the result. Will watch the other 18 episodes and maybe return yo adjust the rating.
