The previous reviewers have explained the plot, so I just want to mention that I am completely puzzled by the ending. Was it an ending or did they cut off the last part when they brought it to Prime Video? No question it was a cliffhanger with no answers. I can't find anything online to explain it. If there's anybody out there who got a different version of this show to watch where there was an actual ending. Please come back here and comment on my review. I think I will have no peace until I know.
That unfinished ending is why I gave this only three stars. It was certainly very dark. Auf Wiedersehen.

I've been watching this series "murders in..." on MHz with tremendous enjoyment. Until this episode. This episode was completely unlike all those previous and all the ones which come after it. That's not a good thing. The plot was awful like the stinkiest French cheese with equivalent over-acting and ridiculous writing. The way it was filmed, was grating and hard on the eyes. And to cap it off there was none of the gorgeous scenery of one of the most beautiful areas in France that have made the series such a delight. It's like the cuckoo in the nest. It just doesn't belong and it hurts the series having it there.
